Good news is by cutting out most steps, you get a quicker, easier, more stable fix!Ĥ) Change "ForceDirectDrawEmulation = 0" to "ForceDirectDrawEmulation = 1"ĥ) Load Red Alert/Yuri's Revenge. Whilst a fix has been posted and sidebar'd, it's convoluted and those with M-series NVidia GPU's (Though not sure about the 9xx series) might notice they get a different issue from other elements of the "fix" which still renders their game unplayable (Examples: Block "artifacts" which are actually undrawn squares on 6xxM, colour issues when forcing 16-bit on 8xxM GPU's alongside certain Intel graphics). Having downloaded RA2 yesterday, I noticed that it was black screening instantly.
